About Myself
I was the Secretary-General and founder of both the European Cyber Security Organisation (ECSO) and the Women4Cyber Foundation. I holds a degree in Nuclear Engineering from the Politecnico di Milano and began my career in Germany, working on high-power microwave systems for the ITER thermonuclear fusion reactor.I later joined Thales, where I progressively assumed key roles in European R&D across sectors such as telecommunications, industrial systems, medical technologies, and scientific research. By 2003, I had become Director for European Affairs. In 2007, I founded the European Organisation for Security (EOS), serving as its CEO for a decade.
Between 2012 and 2016, I advised the European Commission on the EU Security Research Programme and chaired the Steering Board of France’s National Research Agency (ANR) for security research. In 2016, I established the European Cyber Security Organisation (ECSO www.ecs-org.eu) and signed a Public-Private Partnership on cybersecurity with the European Commission. In 2019, I launched Women4Cyber (www.women4cyber.eu) to promote female participation in the cybersecurity field. In 2020, he was recognized as one of the "IFSEC Global Influencers in Security – Executives."
